Quilt pillows

Made a few pillows for two of my grandkids Riley and Emily.  Emily was overjoyed with her Barbie pillow.  Barbie quilt is in the works for her.

Had a great Christmas with family.  The grandkids were a joy and we have a new little one Caleb this year so that was extra special.  We went to my sister Judy's house for Christmas Eve and then when I got home I made 6 of the toy soldier boxes.  It was afree cut file from svgcuts blog http://svgcuts.com/blog/free-designs/ . Such a great cut file so nice an clean and but great!  Was easy to make and came out so very cute.  I put some candy inside them and tied them with a ribbon.  The kids really liked them.  Thank you to Mary and Leo for the free cut file.

My sisters and I have done several Cancer walks and raised a lot of money to support the hope of finding a cure for cancer as well as to help fund so many of the great programs the American Cancer Society has for people faced with all the issues of having cancer. I mostly want to thank all people who have done anything to help others in their time of need. The world needs more angles like you! My family and friends were my rock while I went  though one of the hardest times in my life.

For anyone who is facing. has faced this or has a loved one facing Cancer my heart goes out to you. It is true that the trials in our lives make us stronger. We realize how short life can be and how lucky we are to have love in our life.... even if it is lost.
